Until Dawn

"Until Dawn" is an upcoming American horror film directed by David F. Sandberg, known for his work on "Lights Out" and "Annabelle: Creation." The movie is an adaptation of the 2015 video game developed by Supermassive Games, sharing its universe but introducing an original, standalone story that expands upon the game's mythology. Sony Pictures is set to release the film in theaters on April 25, 2025.

The story centers on Clover (Ella Rubin), who, a year after her sister Melanie's (Maia Mitchell) mysterious disappearance, ventures with friends to the remote area where Melanie was last seen. There, they find themselves trapped in a time loop, facing different deadly threats each night, including masked killers and supernatural entities. To escape, they must survive until dawn.

Sony released the first trailer on January 16, 2025, showcasing the film's intense atmosphere and time-loop mechanic. The movie is scheduled for a theatrical release in the United States on April 25, 2025.

Fans of the original game and horror enthusiasts can look forward to this fresh take on the "Until Dawn" universe, promising a blend of suspense, supernatural elements, and innovative storytelling.
