Wednesday Season 2
Get ready, outcasts—Wednesday Addams is making her grand return in Wednesday Season 2! Netflix has confirmed that our favorite gothic icon, played by Jenna Ortega, will be back in 2025. The exact release date is still a mystery, but since filming wrapped in December 2024, we’re hoping for a fall premiere perfect for spooky season!
And here’s the best part: Jenna Ortega isn’t just starring this time she’s also producing! That means we’re getting even darker storytelling, more horror, and far less romance (sorry, lovebirds, but Wednesday has more important things to do than date).
The first episode is reportedly titled “Here We Woe Again”, which is fitting because we’re so ready for more sarcasm, side-eyes, and sinister fun. Season 2 will dive deeper into Nevermore Academy’s mysteries, with a new villain lurking in the shadows. Plus, we still don’t know who sent Wednesday that creepy stalker message at the end of Season 1 so expect some major twists!
Along with the return of Catherine Zeta-Jones (Morticia) and Luis Guzman (Gomez), some new, legendary cast members are joining the fun. Steve Buscemi, Billie Piper, and Christopher Lloyd (the original Uncle Fester!) are all set to make an appearance. And guess what? The show has moved production from Romania to Ireland, hinting at eerie new locations for Wednesday to explore. Will we see more of the Addams family? Will Enid survive another year as Wednesday’s overly cheerful roommate? Will Thing get a well-deserved vacation? So many questions, so little time!
Netflix is keeping things under wraps, but with production wrapped, a 2025 release is confirmed. Hopefully, we’ll get teasers, trailers, and cryptic clues soon.
So, polish your black boots, sharpen your sarcasm, and prepare for another season of dark humor, twisted mysteries, and pure Wednesday energy. Whatever chaos awaits at Nevermore Academy, one thing is certain woe is back, and we can’t wait!
