In this thrilling episode, Sung Jin-Woo faces the formidable Red Gate, a perilous dungeon known for its high mortality rate. After defeating the Ice Bears, Jin-Woo utilizes his necromantic abilities to transform them into shadow soldiers, bolstering his growing army. Among these, he names the leader "Tank," showcasing his strategic prowess in preparing for the challenges ahead. Meanwhile, tensions rise outside the dungeon as S-Rank Hunter Hwang Dongsoo confronts Baek Yoonho, questioning the decision to allow Jin-Woo, an E-Rank Hunter, into such a dangerous mission. Their confrontation is intense, hinting at deeper conflicts within the Hunter community. Inside the Red Gate, Jin-Woo's group faces new threats. Kim Chul, an A-Rank Hunter, accuses the lower-ranked hunters of hoarding supplies, leading to a heated altercation. Jin-Woo intervenes, subduing Kim Chul and maintaining order.
The group is soon ambushed by Ice Elves, led by the powerful Baruka. In a surprising twist, Jin-Woo discovers he can understand the language of these magical beings, a revelation that raises questions about his evolving powers. Upon returning to the real world, Jin-Woo is confronted by Baek Yoonho, who inquires about the mission's outcome. Jin-Woo, asserting his growing confidence, suggests gratitude for saving guild members should precede interrogation.
