Season4 Episode 4 of Dr. Stone: Science Future

 Episode 4

As Senku and the Kingdom of Science continue their global voyage to revive civilization, their journey takes a dramatic turn when they face a high-tech aerial threat. While navigating near South America, they are ambushed by a mysterious fighter plane that opens fire with a mounted machine gun. The unexpected assault shocks the team, as it reveals the presence of another advanced group with post-petrification technology rivaling their own. The plane is piloted by Stanley Snyder, a highly skilled and ruthless combatant with military precision.

Despite the surprise, Senku remains calm and quickly assesses the situation. Realizing that direct confrontation could be deadly, he hatches a plan to disable the aircraft using acetylene gas. Kohaku and Kirisame, with excellent timing and coordination, manage to deliver the gas into the engine path, forcing the plane to retreat due to mechanical failure.

Senku’s group follows the plane’s trajectory and eventually discovers a makeshift airstrip hidden in a cornfield. This clue leads them to a well-guarded base operated by an unknown enemy. The group understands they are up against a powerful force led by a scientific mind possibly equal to Senku.

To gain intelligence, Gen Asagiri volunteers to infiltrate the enemy camp. Gen pretends to be a diplomat and soon meets Dr. Xeno, the mastermind behind the new scientific enemy faction. Dr. Xeno is revealed to be a former NASA scientist with vast knowledge and a cold, analytical personality. He immediately becomes suspicious of Gen’s intentions.

In a clever ploy to protect Senku, Gen lies by stating that Taiju is the actual leader of the Kingdom of Science. However, Dr. Xeno uses a primitive lie detection method during their conversation, which raises the stakes for Gen. The scene ends with growing tension, as Xeno clearly doesn’t trust Gen and begins probing deeper into the truth.

This episode marks a significant shift in Dr. Stone, introducing an intellectual and militarized rival. The focus on strategy, deception, and technological escalation raises the intensity, paving the way for a “science versus science” conflict. The appearance of Dr. Xeno sets the stage for a high-stakes clash, not just of ideologies, but of intelligence and innovation.
