The Black Phone 2
The official trailer for The Black Phone 2 has been released, offering a chilling glimpse into the sequel of the 2021 horror hit. Directed by Scott Derrickson and co-written with C. Robert Cargill, the film sees the return of Ethan Hawke as the terrifying antagonist, The Grabber. Set four years after the original, the sequel follows Finn (Mason Thames), now 17, still reeling from his past captivity, and his younger sister Gwen (Madeleine McGraw), who begins experiencing haunting dream calls and visions involving three boys at a winter camp called Alpine Lake. As Gwen and Finn visit the camp during a storm, they uncover a deeper connection between The Grabber and their family's history. The Grabber, now more powerful in death, seeks revenge, haunting Gwen and threatening their lives once more. The Black Phone 2 is set to hit theaters on October 17, 2025.
The trailer concludes with The Grabber ominously declaring, "Vengeance is mine," before ripping off his mask to reveal a bloodied mouth, leaving viewers with a chilling anticipation for the film's release.
