The official trailer for The Black Phone 2 has been released, offering a chilling glimpse into the sequel of the 2021 horror hit. Directed by Scott Derrickson and co-written with C. Robert Cargill, the film sees the return of Ethan Hawke as the terrifying antagonist, The Grabber. Set four years after the original, the sequel follows Finn (Mason Thames), now 17, still reeling from his past captivity, and his younger sister Gwen (Madeleine McGraw), who begins experiencing haunting dream calls and visions involving three boys at a winter camp called Alpine Lake. As Gwen and Finn visit the camp during a storm, they uncover a deeper connection between The Grabber and their family's history. The Grabber, now more powerful in death, seeks revenge, haunting Gwen and threatening their lives once more. The Black Phone 2 is set to hit theaters on October 17, 2025.


The trailer opens with a ringing black phone in a cold, desolate area, immediately setting a foreboding tone.
Gwen is shown receiving disturbing visions of three boys being stalked at Alpine Lake, a winter camp. Finn, still haunted by his past, is drawn back into the nightmare when Gwen persuades him to visit the camp during a winter storm. There, they confront the horrifying truth that The Grabber's evil transcends death. The trailer showcases intense scenes of supernatural terror, including Gwen being attacked in her dreams, resulting in real-life injuries, and The Grabber wielding a deadly ax as he haunts the camp.


The film features returning cast members Jeremy Davies, along with new stars Demián Bichir, Arianna Rivas, Miguel Mora, Maev Beaty, and Graham Abbey.
Derrickson and Cargill have returned as writers and producers alongside Jason Blum, with executive production by Joe Hill, Adam Hendricks, and Ryan Turek. Based on characters by Hill, The Black Phone 2 continues to explore the terrifying legacy of The Grabber.

The trailer concludes with The Grabber ominously declaring, "Vengeance is mine," before ripping off his mask to reveal a bloodied mouth, leaving viewers with a chilling anticipation for the film's release.
